Ocean City was my diploma work. Through this project, I confront the use of two different environments for the same activity. The users leave the parks that are intended for them because they are imposed and limited places of play. On the other way, the street is for them an infinite playground, this environment allows them to constantly discover new situations to exploit. A gap is created in terms of territorial approaches between the reappropriation of urban furniture and the use of parks. In order to confront these two aspects, I used my colorful photographs and add news images of skateparks. With an infrared photo film and a thermal camera, I decontextualize the parks, they become mental and abstract spaces, places of the mind. The street is the concrete and real place, the one used limitless and that let its users to give free rein to their imagination.
